Just me or does it seem that WSE sometimes makes the frames stagger a little?
-
The game runs a lot smoother for me now. Or not. What I really have noticed is that there are absolutely no drops like when there are a lot of players, or in siege, or, on DTV, in certain rounds (like rohirrim), where my framerate just died. Now it's all fluid.
What I have also noticed is that I think framerate lowers sometimes, but the "fps meter" won't change. I might be wrong though, but sometimes it feels like fps drop a little and the meter remains at max.

No not like that, I can have 80+ fps and its lag free, its just looks as if the screen is really out of synz, like the screen is jumping a little each time I move my camera.

Or try setting your fps to your screen refresh rate

It's not stagger it's paulstun

Yes mate, my pc pisses all over this game yet now I have used wse2 I am getting a horrible staggering screen effect, like it's skipping frames, even when I turned off wse2 I carried on getting it, I've tried tweaking everything and nothing seems to fix it. Reinstall needed I guess, fuck wse2.

Lol, I had to reinstall warband just to fix it, now it seems to be working fine, no fucking idea what the issue was tbh, but I don't seem to be getting frame skipping anymore.

It certainly wasn't WSE2... its files start all with crpg_beta_ and aren't used by regular Warband.

It only started when I began using wse2 and it's not a co-incidence as others ingame have said they experienced the same issue once using wse2, plus re-installing warband fixed it so it's certainly something involving this game and not my PC itself. It's beyond me what on earth it is though, I tweaked everything I possibly could and it made no difference.

It has to be a coincidence, actually.
You want definitive proof? Fire up a filesystem monitor and look at how none of the WSE2 files get touched by regular Warband.
