Sign up for KUTT everyone, would be greatly appreciated.
We are just humble farmers trying to protect our S+D
Best of luck to AL_Qaeda

Looks Like Al_Qaeda just attacked a member of TAMDA. Time to see this baby in action
-
So the Al's first tried to steal S&D ... not very holy mannered, then are attacking a TAMDA fief ... while ignoring their holy Jihad against CotgS
*priceless*
EDIT: supporters of Jihad got fucked over i would say, first giving free stuff only to see it end up used against another target.

actually, kutt attacked them. So if TAMDA gets involved, then it's more than an defensive treaty.

Shockingly enough.
What he said.

I was passing through, while making a stop to buy more rouncies, therefore, I was attacked first, and we are retaliating.

Did you acquire permission and rights to pass through lands? Otherwise that is pretty much triggering a war yourself, analogous to fighters in restricted airspace. Trespassing is a bit of a serious thing when every caravan is an army, especially since without forewarning they don't know if you are to "buy rouncies" or destroy S&D.

^ This.

Refer to the Tamda thread when I asked the same thing about S&D robbing, that's what they were attempting to do (in our eyes) and they got attacked for it. They were obviously fishing for a reason to attack someone if they were able to muster up a 1700 man army in less than 12 hours to attack the town in which they went to steal from.
-
Berenger was headed directly north, I contacted him shortly after being attacked, he moved in for retaliation. You can defend your friends, but a lie is undefendable.

If we were stealing, you would have noticed a significant drop in S&D when I passed, attacking beforehand is a rash move, and is always vulnerable to retaliation.

So basically, you were trespassing and did not notify them beforehand nor ask for permission.

Clan: Knights Union of the Tundra Territories (KUTT)
Holdings: ---
Border Policy: ---
Contact: Tanken_KUTT, No other KUTTs can approve trade.
Referring to that, it says in no way that borders are closed, I stole no S&D, and if i did you would know, therefore, the attack was pointless.
-
You have a former KUTT member (Tom) in your clan, he would know that I am very strict when it comes to Border policy. We don't like anyone flirting around our fiefs without permission, hell, ask Fallen, that sparked a mini-war between us for that reason And they were allies (of sorts).
Plus I'm Jewish and your faction name is offensive, so there.
Also, adding this in here... I'm not sure who edited our Border Policy. I didn't. Our holdings may have been out-dated, but the Policy applies to any and all of our fiefs in holding--not sure why it is marked out. Looking at you Elindor!

I'm catholic and don't find it offensive at all, grow a thicker skin.
-
So... sign up for KUTT?

It's a joke, nerd.
Besides, one thing I learned about getting wiped off the Map is you don't need to have a reason to attack anyone at anytime, and you guys just happened to be in the area and looked quite dangerous to our economy and well-being, so we attacked.

Ask for permission against a one fief faction is a little pointless. Unless you have intentions of entering that fief or being directly next to it. You'd have to spend one day to contact all the factions you would pass by just to move half way across the map. If you are entering large clan territory, it may be a little different. I'd personally give a heads up.
-
Guy was moving directly toward our sell thief with a lot of crates, no attempt to make contact with us. We protected our S+D and were going to leave it at that, they made the choice for a full assault.

Pointless if you don't care if you get attacked I suppose. It is not our responsibility to make sure traders don't have to spend time making contact with factions.

It's been this way this whole Strategus, especially around this area. If you plan to pass through someone's lands, or by their fief, then it is common courtesy to let them know your intentions so that your large army and large crate count isn't mistaken as a threat. It's simple courtesy, and correction--we have 2 fiefs.
Also, Noodles, from my understanding, you're going against your faction's NAP and TAMDA agreement with us by signing up for them. Boom.

Good battle Al Qaeda, we had fun and hope you guys did as well.

Why do people care about who mercs for who, we just want full rosters and fun fights :(
-
It was just unexpected Smooth, as I put in the other thread. It's all cleared up now, no harsh feelings or anything, and in the future if we are to harbor or allow passage for terrorists through our lands, they simply need to notify one of us in advance :P

Who neutered Smoothbabe, he is a bit soft after the last mute.

Overall good siege battle i'd say but disappointed i didn't get into Uslum in EU to liberate it from the chocolate cookies or whatever.

Even if you won, did you really expect any significant amount of your forces to survive to the point where you could march on and still be a threat?

I didn't expect 4 KUTT's to be inside the fief to reinforce as well as Flower to reinforce after that first battle in time. Nor did i expect the expected a.ka transitional tincan armor and tons of it.
-
You underestimate our rebuilding strength. See, we pull in about 175-225k strat gold every 7-10 days. :D
But all that aside, if you need to pass through again, feel free to contact one of us--and if our attack was just a mishap and you guys were in fact not stealing S&D or planning on it--we could have settled the matter diplomatically, held the gear and such for you guys and attempted to reimburse you. It would have been quick and painless, except for whomever we attacked losing those 100 or so troops, but your gear would still be there and your nearby army you had would have been able to pick up that gear and carry on and no major damage would have happened!
We're reasonable people, the few of us that are still around.
