Ok... Due to the neglect of server Administrator or admins or to the people that run this shit.... UPDATE THE MAPS!!! AND PATCHES!!! Us map makers and players are crying for you to update stuff every two weeks!!! At least! comeon.... This every six months shit has got to go! This has gotn outa hand. And nobody els will speak out!!! I am......... So ya....... FIX IT! or get someone that will...!  By the way... Its not the mapers... Its the source... So fix it!... Love you too... Have a good day! I hope this gets Chads attention..................

When you give them a salary, I'm sure you'll be more than within your rights to tell them to buck their ideas up but until then, stop being ungrateful, oh, and spamming this in every section you possibly can.

Update every two weeks, because there are a lot of games that have been running as long as cRPG that still patch that often... I can name maybe three, all of which are some of the biggest money bringers out there.  :rolleyes:

Either that or we could get them to increment the version number each week to keep you happy?

The day you're able to hold down a stable job and work on a free mod for a relatively small community as much as an A list MMO team is the day congestion charges are lifted due to flying pigs.

It's not them the money is going towards, it's going towards keeping the servers, the website etc all running. From my understanding, they can't lawfully take money anyway. (I mean money for their creations, taking money for upkeep of servers etc is a different matter.)

The reason that maps and updates do not get into rotation is actually due to the fact that the Mapping Admins (like Jacko, Mustikki, etc) do not have access to restart the servers as I understand it....

So they can put the maps into rotation, but the rotation doesn't go LIVE until the server is restarted....which as I understand it, only people like chadz and cmp and such can do.

On that note - I do agree that this situation makes it hard for mappers to do their work...since getting updates to their maps up has such an extreme delay.  Would it be possible for the mapping admins like Jacko and Mustikki to have the ability to restart the servers and therefore be able to complete the whole process?  - rather than just being able to rework the rotation.

When I made my 3 maps the delay was not nearly what it is now (for whatever reason), and that relatively quick turnaround helped the process of refining them.

For a Computer Tech you sure do have bad spelling, and horrible pay. Also, your maps are just about as good as your spelling, not once have I played your maps and thought they were decent, so kudos to the admins for keeping that trash out anyway.
