Title: BATTLE CRY OF FREEDOM!
Post by: Artyem on December 07, 2012, 08:34:03 pm
I saw this being advertised on a Napoleonic Wars server, thought I'd google it and saw this:

Apparently, it's set during the American Civil War and the intent is to pretty much have M&B: NW but with 500 player battles.  I think this could pretty sweet if done properly, however judging by the developers and the hypothetical introduction I'd say if they even get this game off the ground it'll be a damn long time before we get to play this.  But who knows, maybe they'll prove me wrong... maybe.

P.S. I'd like to see Napoleonic Wars with in-depth somewhat realistic naval battles.  I think that would be pretty damn cool, and maybe this game will deliver.

Also, the rain looks pretty cool, does anyone know which engine they're making this on?

Saw this the other day and from what I read it's the Unity engine they're using. I think the American Civil War could provide some good fun, after all you get to shoot Americans regardless of which side you are on.
