Before you -1 me, give me a second to explain why I want it removed.
The thing with your teamate's banners being shown as opposed to the enemy banners is that you know their position more precicely and you are able to communicate better with them...it is also very good at actually seeing who the fuck is an ally.
However, the only thing showing the enemy's banner does is remove a part of the game, namely, sneaking and strategizing. Yes, hiding and trying semi-ambushes are fun. This completely removes it. No more can people conceal themselves and wait until the main force is over so they can attack the back. No more can you hide behind a rock waiting for the enemy to pass so you can strike.
The old system for that worked fine, why change it?

I agree.

Yes.

I support this.

I support this motion.
-
full support for this

Since when we can see enemy banners?
-
Yes, remove it!

Seeing enemy banners doesn't seem very useful (except for spotting potential ambushes) and certainly isn't realistic. I know seeing ally banners already isn't but that's no reason to show more floating images.
-
I've never considered this. It explains a lot of failed ambushes.

Concurrence maximal.

It's supposed to be a server side setting, but that can't be done until we drop compatibility with old clients. Might force disable it until then.
-
i'd like a recognising system like darkfall as an option (enemy = red name when hovering on player ; ally = green name but it may needs to raise the detect distance) , but i know banners are nice to see so i'd stay with banners :)

Whoever thought this was a good idea shall be kicked in the nuts.
Looking at you devs.
