Post by: Tigero on December 03, 2012, 04:47:40 pm
Crashes immediately as the ''checking for WSE update'' finishes, first time i ran the game i got to loading screen but computer freezed on ''loading textures'', after that i have tried repair option, running as admin. and compatability modes but didn't help. Oh, and normal cRPG works fine.

Here's the WSE crash log

Could be a problem with your graphics drivers, try updating them.

Have you tried restarting your computer? Unplugging and checking all your cables?

On a serious note, I recently upgraded to windows 8.1 and was having a wse2 issue myself. I had to download and reinstall direct x; I believe from here http://directx.en.softonic.com/ (http://directx.en.softonic.com/)

That fixed the problems I was having with WSE2. Good luck.
