Add this but lower arrow damage extremely, and do so that any armor (even leather) would block arrows, and finally make infantry faster than my old friendchers.

Or just nerf kiting but leave everything else like it is now.

Sure, implement that but balance it with ability to cut archers' heads like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HNEBpu8eDsU#t=18s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HNEBpu8eDsU#t=18s)

What about that Katana vs Longsword vid?

Anyway, no, archery rate of fire is fine. Any faster and I will run out of arrows in two flurries and wonder if I actually hit anything, and then why my arm is dislocated.

Edit: Although if this were serious and if this was seriously implemented, there would be two cases that would make me chuckle. First off, the probably blackening of the sun after roughly 30 seconds when everyone gets in range, or watching a 2 hander getting 17 masterwork bodkin arrows slammed into him in roughly 8.4 seconds.

Add it, but make shields and armour more useful against ranged.

Do note that he says that he doesn't draw his bow to the full extent, sacrificing (unrequired for his goals) armour penetration for rate of fire.

Give bows secondary mode with halved damage and similar (still slower, as he's a pro, comparable to full agi build with shortbow or whatever)

Any dedicated medieval archer would be even more pro though, history confirms this.

Take note that even without drawing the bow to its full extent the arrow could easily penetrate through mail. Not sure about plate, very few arrows could penetrate that + the other layers beneath.

Please take also note that this technique was almost never used. It wasn't efficient to shoot like that, given the low number of arrows each bowman had. Volleys were far more efficient morale-wise, too.

Plus, only horse archers really used this technique since they were fast in-fast out skirmishers. Even if they fell from horses they could release a shot(talking about mongols here). No foot archer learned that technique, it was designed for horse archers.
