Hi, I am making a 1hander, shielder, crossbow character and was hoping to get some input on the minimum wpf I can put into Crossbow and still have decent accuracy at close to medium range. This was the build I was looking at:
Strength: 21
Agility: 15
Hit points: 70
Skills to attributes: 2
Ironflesh: 7
Power Strike: 7
Shield: 5
Athletics: 5
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 5
One Handed: 140
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 63
Throwing: 1
I have tried this in a STF character but was looking for help from people who have used similar.
Any help, much appreciated

for crossbow you need 120ish

I had a similar build a year or 2 ago and was told that 60 wpf in crossbow was ok.Has the requirements for them changed in a patch. Is this going to be really inaccurate?

I agree with the 120 crossbow wpf. its what some decent crossbowers use and pull off good shots while in medium plus armour.
You wont be totally inaccurate with lower wpf but when you are doing those medium ranged shots you will be much more accurate with 120 wpf.
I would do this: considering im building for 30 if im building for 31 I would do an 18/21 or 21/18. with less ironflesh, 4 shield, and then more powerstrike or athletics.
18 str
18 agi
6 ironflesh
6 powerstrike
5 shield
6 athletics
6 weaponmaster
120 one handed (this will be a little lower on phone so cant use the exact character builder wpf calculator)
120 crossbow

If I was playing xbow/shielder, I'd put 130 in 1h and the rest in crossbows.
Played quite a lot with 1h weapons and anything lower than 130 feels bad for me.

I agree with Rage guy about not going below 130 wpf in 1hander as its my primary weapon and the crossbow is secondary.I also wanted to have 7 PS for this. Thanks for all the input so far. What do you think of this:
Strength: 21
Agility: 15
Hit points: 70
Skills to attributes: 2
Ironflesh: 7
Power Strike: 7

Athletics: 5
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0

One Handed: 134
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 82
Throwing: 1

That's pretty good build, you will take lots of hits and will do nice damage, while sacrificing a little speed.
Also remember, that crossbow slows you down, so if you run out of ammo or engage in melee, then drop it.

just use an arbalast problem solved. 50 wpf is enough just to keep you from repairing it everyround

Then you don't have enough slots to carry a shield.

fk shield swashbuckler is the shit

63 wpf is plenty for a crossbow sidearm. You will still repair a lot, but accuracy will be sufficient for hitting horses and stationary targets at medium range.
