Title: My insane night

Well given this is a whole story to tell and I have no other outlet to tell it here we go

I iz drunk
Diabetic friend is puking in bathroom after hours of shots
We give him 5 minutes to straighten out or I drive him home (40 minutes with an easy .20+ BAC)
Drive him home
He starts puking out of my car and we get off the beaten road
Driving like a madman on a mission I'm going 80 through a school zone at 11 PM and sheriff pulls me over
I frantically pull over and start yelling I need directions due to diabetic dying in shotgun, he asks if i need an ambulance, i ask for directions and resume 80 MPH
Directions are perfect, my friend lives to see another day
Magically I do too


Cops not being douchebags? I think this deserves a call and a thank you for fulfilling the "serve" end of serve and protect

consider yourself lucky.  Most cops I know would have escorted you to hospital and then arrested you for felony traffic crimes (doubling speed limit, reckless use of acceleration, criminal negligence) and had your license revoked.

next time just call the ambulance, they're the ones who are trained & insured to drive fast

I must live in the only city where the cops are laidback, yeesh. The stories I hear make me afraid to travel sometimes.
