Reverse discrimination.  If you are going to ban and take action against all these names making fun of minorities, better do it with this one too.

you joke about it, but you'd be banning the minority equivalent of this name in a heartbeat, but this guys been around for weeks now.  Also just saw another person named 'scalper_of_white_devil' or something to that effect.

Isn't that what they called Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura??? Anyone ever seen Undercover Brother with Denise Richards as White She Devil? Good movie, anyways seems like that name is purty offensive. Yup yup

Doesn't particularly bother me, but Diggles has a decent point. Would you allow someone to go around with the name Lynch_the_black_hoodlums? Not all that different of a situation.

Is it your point that the devil must be black and therefore calling him white is racist.

I am offended in how you deny the possibility of any white being possibly being the devil.

It is just the color of a Devil. Red, Black, Blue, White, or green. Devils don't have rights because they are monsters. Maybe if controls air so it's color is white. He just wants to kill a wind element demon.
Racism shouldn't be searched if something is racist then it is but if you have to really dig in the lines then it's just not worth it. Ser_Reggin I don't even think is racist because to see it you have to search for it. Is Grisgen racist? has the same letters in it so clearly the person who made it wanted to hurt peoples feelings. Unless the person makes it obviously clear to everyone he is being racist then just let these things go.
But if he is trying to hurt people then he should be harshly punished.

I am black and i take no offense to having the N word chucked around me and sometimes at me on a daily basis in TS and even less in game because context is everything and its quite easy to tell when someone is trying to be malicious about it.The fact is that i'm pretty sure we all know who this is and what he meant when he made the name or at least where he got the idea from.

The double standard for what is and isn't acceptable regarding slurs in the NA servers is pretty silly and this guy is playing off of that directly. It's one thing when you and a buddy are jokingly saying racial slurs in your own private ts or chat, but when you say it in the public in game it's different. It may not bother some of us personally but we don't speak for everybody. Some people might not like being called a "cracker" or white devil and they shouldn't be harassed or made fun of for speaking out on it anymore than if I or one of the other black members of the community complained about it. It's also pretty obvious that racial slurs involving black or other ethnicities are enforced with a much higher level of severity than slurs involving Europeans or "whites". Either lighten up with all of the white guilt or start enforcing the rules fairly for all racial slurs .

TL;DR I am a strong black man and I dont need no white guilt to crutch on.

After watching 12 hours straight of unedited Glen Beck footage and thinking deeply about this thread, and what it means to Be White/Do The Right Thing (the same concept) I have decided this name is foolish, offensive, and plays off the worst of the beliefs in all of us.
