Title: CHAOS seeks arrowsmiths to combat the raining death in New Tilbaut Castle

Awake from one nightmare, and flung into another, the feverish Malaclypse (barely surviving her woodland encounter with Dach) has been brought to the siege camp of New Tilbaut Castle where she is tended to by the finest soothsayers and augers which could be found in the gutters of nearby Tadsamesh; the battle above now taking place in earnest, and from the sound of things... is not going well. For every soldier who approaches the front lines, ten more are sent back, their corpses riddled with arrows. Drawing her strength (and her quill), Malaclypse sends out an earnest plea by raven to the deadeyes of New Calradia: "Our enemy has some of the finest archers in all the land in their employ, from the Fallen Brigade itself, to a number of skilled shots from the ranks of the venerable Free Companies of Calradia; we desperately need a counter. Hark! Heed the call! Top shots across the land, take up our bows and put them to use!"
- The Chosen Hands seek aid by way of mercenaries, in particular, those skilled in the projectile art of archery, in the second siege of New Tilbaut Castle (http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=battlesupcoming#!?page=battledetail&id=1388). As a further incentive, I'll be providing various cRPG gold awards from my own personal stash to the best ranged performers.
Top-Draw Award (Best archer KDR): 40k gold (will not stack with below!) Deadeye (Best archer kills): 40k gold (will not stack with above!) Congeniality Awards (Next 5 top POSITIVE archer KDRS): 10k gold each.
We are mostly using Rus Bows, followed by Horn and Long. Please provide stats and indicate that you are an archer in your application. I'll be posting here after the battle with who should put up trades for the payment.
tl;dr we have bows, we need archers, top archers will be paid by me personally. Thanks!

"Go ahead." The stranger said. "Sign your soul away." A young archer stopped walking toward the Chaos recruitment tent and stared at the stranger with disbelief.
"Excuse me?" He replied. "They are offering a fortune for the services of archers. Perhaps I can finally stop living in shit."
"You see that castle up on the hill?" The stranger said, pointing yonder. "Yeah. It's New Tibault Castle, there's battle going on." "A battle?" The stranger scoffed. "More like organized suicide. Why do you think they are offering such rewards? It's because corpses never collect." "I think I'll take my chances." The archer said, with stalwart determination. "I need the money." "Pathetic." The stranger spat with distaste. "Why do you live in shit?" "Well..." The archer paused. "Because I'm an archer." "Do your 'betters' make you wash your cloths in separate basins reserved for archers? Must you only use the lower quality archer latrines? Do people call you 'my old friendcher' and laugh when you get nerfed?" "Well, yes, but..." "Well I'll tell you who doesn't see archers as second class citizens. The men in that castle up there. The men of New Tibault. The men of the Fallen Brigade. You see now why they fight so hard. They don't want to become like you." The stranger drew a bow from beneath his cloak and fired an arrow straight into left eye socket of a nearby Chaos soldier and then disappeared into the night. Attached to the arrow was a crude drawing of Fallen Loki giving everyone an upraised middle finger.

I would rather die covered in arrows with my brothers then pew pew shoulder to shoulder with the likes of you.

Malaclypse, hearing the exchange between the Fallen rogue and the archer seeking combat from her tent, steps out into the night. She carefully bends over the dead soldier and inspects the crude drawing, stifling a laugh; it was pretty good, actually. You could even make out Loki's fabled bulge dangling longingly down his pant leg. She caresses the dead soldier's forehead, and removes the mock ceremonial Ragged Outfit from his body revealing a Fallen soldier.
She turns to the man- not an archer, a my old friendcher, a soldier or grunt, but an equal at the gateway of impending death- and speaks, "Don't ask me how we knew how he'd shoot this one- we really didn't, dumb luck..." she shrugs, kicking the body before them gently, continuing, "...it is... true, that many among our ranks will die. Perhaps you will be among them, and perhaps I will as well- our bent must by necessity be suicidal to fight uphill, yes. It will not be a fight easily won- things worth fighting for seldom are... but ask yourself, would you rather elevate yourself above others, follow the path of least resistance, or would you like to stand up to a greater challenge than you have ever known, with no keeps and murder holes to hide behind between knocks and releases?
... what's that? You say would rather be on the walls? Oh... well, okay then."

Well the fight went about how was expected, by the time we got into melee the lag from the time/siege equipment was horrendeous and we got stomped, but I'm a man of word and intend to pay out dat cRPG gold if it's wanted. Most kills and best KD don't stack, and I've decided to give out the 10k gold ones despite not being positive, just for showing up and using our gear. Thanks DRZ guys, and everyone who came to that ridiculous castle. Send me a PM when you've put up a trade and I'll pay you.
Well the fight went about how was expected, by the time we got into melee the lag from the time/siege equipment was horrendeous and we got stomped, but I'm a man of word and intend to pay out dat cRPG gold if it's wanted. Most kills and best KD don't stack, and I've decided to give out the 10k gold ones despite not being positive, just for showing up and using our gear. Its all part of the plan. We plan on catapulting at least 1000 dead bodies into the castle until you all die of the plague.

Just what is it that you are doing that is so amazing and interesting? I do think a plague feature could be cool though. Also, environmental conditions should affect armies in the field as well. This could be a combination of the terrain type and also random weather effects that actually affect armies on the strat map.

I recall only giving Desire permission to use the suicide machine, the rest of you were to die with all that fancy self-righteous Fallen-hunting honor that Canary was talking about in his declaration :P
