Title: Banned players' items

What will become of the items and money of those players that were permabanned? Couldn't they be distributed among the new players, who still lack equipment?
I imagine an invisible lottery where every gen 0 character automatically participates. One day, he finds a message like "Your unknown relative Cheater_the_Grey, who was recently executed for his vile crimes, has bequeathed his masterwork elite scimitar / his light kuyak / the sum of x gold to you."
Result: a happy newby, who is now more competitive to all those loom-stackers out there, yet at the same time gets a stern warning as to what happens to cheaters.

already suggested that we hold "admin appreciation day" and give the looms to ourselves for having to put up with all of you horrible people for months/years with no restitution

It's not like those "items" have any physical reality, except a tiny chunk of memory state on the db server. When accounts are closed these items vanish like a forgotten dream, literaly.

Atilla found the Sword of Mars.  King Arthur found excalibur.  Joan of Arc found the Sword of St. Catherine.  m8.  dont ruin this for us.

Completely erase them out of the system!

They're tainted items! If one dares lay his touch upon them he will find himself urging to access multiple accounts, scam other players, repeatedly insult and grief on the servers, leech, and violate the common sense rule.
