The lord of the Dharan Mercenary armies, out of respect of mutual workings, challenges High King Peppovitch to a single Duel at the Battle of Dirigh Aban (http://c-rpg.net/index.php?page=battlesupcoming#!?page=battledetail&id=1178) over injustices of Hospitaller not paying their mercenaries.

This duel will take place before the real battle. I have graciously provided 1 suit of Red Brigadine, Mail Chauses, Iron Hat, and Heavy Bastard sword. I also provided the 1 troop necessary for this duel. If Peppovitch cannot make this battle, he is to appoint a champion to fight in his name!

If I win, Hosp will pay me the 300g that I am owed, If I lose, I pay 300g to Hosp for repatriations of this challenge.

Basically I gave  gear to the village for this 1 ticket so that I do NOT affect the stuff in the village. This is to be done BEFORE we start up the real battle and I want to have some fun before hand. No archers shooting either "Champion" until after he is back to his "line" in which case the battle will proceed as normal.

I thought this was an exploit attempt to take a village by possibly negating the default peasant gear. I do like the theatrics however.. We'll try and talk to peppo and see what can be done about your so challenge.

I'm going to pitch in and say i like how your thinking anders, i'll back aztek up on talking peppo into it. =)

Hey if you win, you get a guy with a full heavy armor set and a decent weapon. So it's a plus for you guys if he wins the duel.

Also make sure you tell me who the duel champion is so I can properly kill him.

Proudest moment of NA cRPG community that they didnt interrupt duel.  Bad side is my bandicam footage got corrupted due to warband crash.

Diggles was filming it, but his data got corrupted. Anyone get screenshots or otherwise?

All i know is this. Duel was about 30s - 1 minute. I lost, suuper got nailed by archers within seconds afterwords. Also, shik is a dick. Took horses I asked not to, AND team bumped me before the duel.

Omg diggles really, i wanted to see that.  :rolleyes: That sucks man you really diggled it.

Also im surprised you hit super even once anders, and i woulda guessed the duel woulda lasted maybe 10-15 seconds but i guess supers been a sheilder latley and is out of practice when it comes to manual blocking.

Oh yea, forgot about that. I think that shield saved him. Thanks to hosp for being true strat sports. You can have fun in strat even during battles if you try.

Also, thank you fellas for my battle today. I must say that that was a very nice battle and I hope all sides had fun.
