make one with an awlpike, something like 10 kills a row :P
I would have to follow you around for a bit then, recording myself or anyone else with the awlpike will be a waste of time compared to what i get from 5 minutes of knitler
EDIT: Mala, mind if i add the buckler vid to the opening post (ofc with creds to you)?

Haboe, if you're using Vegas 11, can you please render the video right to stop the black bars. Uncheck maintain aspect ratio in the video properties will stop the black bars. Make sure you render it at a 30fps setting as youtube is capped at 30fps.

Those black bars is how i actually play. I have a screen of 1900*1000 but i keep the black bars because i hate to use widescreen in game.

not sure why it doesn't work, here the link for rondel dagger:

I know, you said it last time I said to get rid of the black bars. It'll make it look better quality on youtube if you got rid of them and used the right render settings. As long as you play in something over 1280x720, it will look good.

Dude, 1280x720 is also widescreen. Its not that my pc can't handle 1900*1000, its that i do not want to play in widescreen.
So the change in settings you are talking about, its in game or in vegas?
EDIT: I use playclaw 2 to record the vid (and vegas 11 to edit) so the recorded file already has the black bars.

Once glance on the light armor guy at 1:11. With a stab.

It's in Vegas, doesn't matter what you record with in game as long as it's higher than 1280x720 and 1900x1000 is higher. Also I recommend fraps to record in game.

Nice vids Haboe... Interesting though - seems to be a lot less blocking (by your opponents) than I'd expect...you have a rather good ping?
Also - good Lord that maul. I feel like it can get off a series of swings almost as fast as my MW Longsword....whats the story with that? :?

I have 23-30 ping :)
Well... just normal mauling :P None of the items in the movies is loomed (apart from my armor and shield).
I was working on a new vid but vegas just disappeared from my pc for some reason, so will take me longer now ^^

Yeah, if someone wanted to make a case for "mauls are too fast for what they do" that video would be a good reference :)

Mauls are not very slow indeed, if you block, most of the time you can land a hit with a sideswing if you hit at a short angle (a basic block can stop that ofc). You must take in consideration though that that vid is made from around 30 minutes or more recorded material, so the best hits are in there. The fights where i blocked, tried to hit someone but was too slow and got killed are not in there ofc.

Of course.
Wouldn't it be awesome though if that was literally you getting on and going nuts for 2-3 min and then signing off - no editing at all? LOL.
