Title: The reasons why chadz does not release a changelog

By now we all realize that no decent changelogs are released with patches.

The question is, why? Discuss  :mrgreen:


My guess:

Crpg is a mod that does not have a perfect balance in classes/ items. By not releasing a changelog it will take the community a long time to sort of have a good view on the current balance, which is ofc never good.
So by that time they release a new patch, and again it will take us ages to whine with arguments good enough to rebalance again.


Poll will be added when we got enough good reasons.

They don't post changelogs because they don't know what they've changed. They just open the scripts and mod files and type some random codes there, change some values here - And then enjoy watching all the butthurt players whine on the forums.

Witch class is so OP right now, if a change log showed it, everyone would be witch class!

cmp and chadz switch days where they wear blindfolds and just type random tuples that come to mind.  The only time they take those blindfolds off is when they need to reference a library they haven't already.

Actually 3 is the objectively correct answer.

Even with as few as 4 people messing with the stats, it's already a mess keeping a changelog of everything.

Because no one from us knows all of the stuff that changed, and by the time we figured out, the community did already.

or better yet, write down your objectives and then start coding

Crpg cannot be balanced and if he did release the logs there would be people bitching all over the place, like for instance:

"WHAT? My armor has 0,0000001 less defence according to the log? I totally felt that, My armor is completely useless now! F u!"

or GTX style:

"You took 2 speedpoints out of the danish and gave it badass damage value, IT IS CRAP NOW! I have to sell it now QQ(while also ignoring the fact that GSheroism was and still is seriuslly OP )
