Considering that the latest patch will require 1/3 of the cRPG community to respec or retire, could we maybe get a strat freeze for 2 weeks to give people a chance to adjust and for the bugs ect to get worked out?
-
If whole army's get wiped by bugs and nothing is done, why would they pause strategus for potential bugs and inconvenience to the players?

This exactly
-
Because they like being lame i suppose...
-
Archer clan wanting a freeze cause their strat armies got nullified?....
the free respec sounds more likely than that!

Yeah... We just got ourselves into wars with five different clans and then they spring this patch on us which completely screws over current archer builds. I know we aren't going to get a freeze I am just pissed that we could end up losing a war that we could have otherwise won due to an untimely archer curbstomp nerf. I'm more pissed about the effect of the patch on strategus than on having to retire/respec.

In fairness to FCC, the bug and update shit did screw them and our small unarmed peasant army defeated their 200-300 man army simply because we had people that realized to make it around the updater thing, all you had to do was launch Warband normally.
However, I do see what you're saying about the update and whatnot.
It's pretty ballbreaking to have these big of changes done in the game 2-3 months in Strategus when people have based their entire spent points on selecting certain equipment and building specific builds to suddenly realize that it's not going to work as well now with this thing happening.

Lol, i like how your first win against us in the last 20 battles (of course through a bug) got brought up. We tried launching warband normally and the launcher refused to allow it. What allowed you to have 3x as many players on the field was that they had already been in crpg when the patch hit and so could just switch servers and win with automatic peasant gear. We never asked for rollback, we figured you needed all the help you could get fighting us - a smaller faction with fewer troops that somehow is just rolling over you completely.

Wow Kesh. Apparently you completely disregarded the fact that I just stood up for you guys and was trying to correct something. If I'm going to lose, I want to do so without having some bug or glitch to do it for me.
So, reread my post. I was being sympathetic towards it, because we didn't deserve to win that. Instead of reading through my posts with anger in your heart and -'ing each one of them, perhaps you missed the point of this one in which I actually assisted your effort.
Also, please stop pretending your faction is smaller.
We're down to 38 people in the faction, a whopping 15 which are active. Teutonics made up for a good portion of that and you got them out of it.

You've shrunk in members and troops, but when we initiated this you had more troops and more members than us. And yes you trying tos ay we couldn't figure out how to login into crpg was an obvious condescension, not a compliment in any shape or form.

I didn't say that. And your excuse for why we were able to show up was falsefooted. I was patching as the battle was about to take place, hadnt been in cRPG, and was able to get in just fine.
-
yeah that battle stunk.. The gear we bought did not show up.. All our gear was -2 junk. Only 5 of us were able to get into the fight against your 16 I think. And unfortunayely I just retired the day before so i was only lvl 20. We were just trying to delay long enough for us to get some people spawned in.. it did not work.
That did not happen and we lost. it was a BS win so my gods were pleased.

When the mighty gods of Calradia swing the nerfhammer over us all there is nothing that can be done but pray, curse and go on with our miserable lifes!

What did the patch do? chadz post didn't say shit (as usual)

Nerfed agi archers and made some stat changes to weapons.
Oh ya, also added Halloween stuff.
-
But nerfedarchers how? And where is my long overdue promised weapon master boost/rework of wpf
-
Ath now reduces wpf for archery. I'm guessing that's the wpf thing they were talking about....
Lol
-
Isnt it athletics, not agi that reduces it?
PD does not do it any more though

Ya,that's what I meant, I changed it already.

PD still reduces it... just not as much...

This quote is so wonderful for so many reasons.
More on point, as we all know, having enough athletics to say, run away from a guy in full plate armor definitely should reduce ones ability to draw a bow. perfect sense. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this nerf... is it more or less silly than the magic-stand-by-me bonus damage? Decisions, decisions!

We got things figured out now so I am no longer being a whiney bitch. Thread locked.
