Title: Black Steppe Armor

I'd like to propose that a Black Steppe Armor should be added in the game.
I've made this one a few weeks past and thought others might like to have it in their game too(I've added it in clientside), so now I'm submitting to the peer-pressure.

PS: If you want it installed client side add it in ...\steamapps\common\mountblade warband\Textures
Backup the file it replaces first!!!!  (It replaces the current steppe armor)

Not bad.

A black retexture of the Leather Gloves would be neat too.  8-)

I want it, although it might just be video settings or lightning but it seems like their still some green left in the black. I would like it better if it was really black.

Edit: I suppose you are wearing khergit leather boots of which I know that they're fully black and the armor is the same colour, so I guess its just this screen or my monitor that make the armor look slightly greenish.

I so want this. I would prefer this to the Black Lamellar Vest. I think this looks more Ninja like than the Lamellar Vest.

I would like this added but keep the Green one too

Yeah i definately wouldn't want to lose it. I sort of miss it sometime on my computer.

Didn't ninja dress themselves in such a way you couldn't tell they're ninja from miles away?

Why run around in armour screaming "I'm a NINJA!!!" when you're supposed to be a stealthy killer.

I would be much more surprised when I encounter a lightning fast peasant with a quarterstaff then when I see a guy in that armour with a katana running at me.

What? For balance I'd like to remove rain, because day and night cycle is fine.

+1 on armor, but keep the green one, too!

Hey, figured I resurrect this thread in case there are any non-ninja clan ninjas out there, because I recolored the Woolen Cap(black so as to better fit the Black Steppe armour in the original post) and Leather Gloves(to fit the leather in the black steppe and black lamellar) yesterday, when I got annoyed by the ugly colour of the leather gloves.

They replace the normal steppe armors, etc. So other people will still see you as they've always seen you. It's just something that changes the way you look on your screen.

If you're having trouble seeing the difference in the gloves then here's a picture without leather gloves recoloured:

And finally, if the devs are willing to add this to cRPG, then by all means. But y'know. This way I can look cool on my screen and still be camouflaged to everyone else.  8-)

Love it.

But yes, I also like the original steppe armor. It is very suitable for Ashigaru.

I think there should be two versions of Steppe Armor.

I went with something like that in my first attempt, but I thought it was too black, so I kept the brown leather parts, just made them darker.
