shielders are already the easiest, most powerful melee class in cRPG, another round of buffs like this would destroy game balance

I was watching the video and when it was 2:37 my GF come behind me, saw that and said that she became wet out of this.... better than 1000 words!

shield bash wasnt all that useful in most fighting, remember its basically PUNCHING range.

Shield rim shots however were used to great effectiveness by shielder cultures like Greeks & Vikings.

6 minutes into this video, watch the use of shield rim.  Shield rim shot = arm length + radius of of a round shield. So a wide round shield that has radius of 35-42 has some pretty good reach and offensive use.


Remember Greek shields were bronze covered/rimmed, rim shot someone in the face and good chance of killing them.
