Hello,

I'm offering a bit of financial support for new crpg players in order to lessen the money grind a bit so you can buy some equipment and dont look like a peasant that is mowed down within the first 20 seconds of each round.

Now this is how you can apply for gold:

!!!Edit: You have to be at least Level 15 to be able to apply for financial support!!!

- PM me and include the following information:
- Since when you are playing
- What level are you at the moment
- How much gold you currently have

I can give you a bit of gold but dont expect too much.

For all other players, no troll messages please I do not want to support veterans that are greedy or are just too stupid to watch their own cashflow. If I receive stupid pm's from veterans or smell abooze I will cancel this whole project.

This money is ONLY for buying equipment at the start and trying out some different weapons/armors because its a bit boring at the beginning without gold, especially if you're rolling on the x1 wave.

Edit: IMPORTANT! Read this guide carefully before spending lots of money on expensive equipment!

I'm not expecting to get anything back, I just want to help the community grow and I cannot make models or do any programming or do anything else to support the game so I'll try to do it that way.

I'm just expecting that all the "older" players do not abuse this. Pathetic probably but worth a try.

I think it would be better to teach new players how to save money, becouse every new player is going to buy plate armor first and than he will have no money for upkeep and than he will be poor. There are topics for that, but new players dont really look at it, at least some.

I think it would be more helpful if you wrote a guide, or improved whatever existing one, on what one should do as a new cRPG player. Giving them gold without them even knowing what to do with it is just throwing pearls before swine (pardon the metaphor). They need to understand what it's for. Upkeep, upkeep friendly armours, weapons, different sets etc etc.

I.e they shouldn't buy a horse, first thing they do, teambumping newbies are fairly annoying.

Or at least only give it to players who have played over a week. They would be self-educated to a degree and they are bound to stay longer than the occasional random newb who plays a couple of hours and leaves for ever.

Actually I was wondering what people think is the easiest weapon or build to start off with. I've been playing for a day and I tried to just run around with a 2 hander cocked and rdy to drop but usually I get smoked by any competent player. Iv'e tried shield and the meat cleaver and usually people just wail away like maniacs so if I try to counter atk I eat a swing then die and if I just block and back up to get away my shield breaks then I die. Pole Arms Ive had a bit of success with , cross bows a bit of success. I am leaning towards a pole arm build but usually if people get right up in my grill I get my face smashed in again, it just seems even if I block or parry by the time I get rdy to swing they are already into another swing animation flailing like nut cases and my counter atk speed after block never seems to win out, or I do connect but they just keep flailing like its a scratch till I die.

If you're new I recommend long weapons, preferably polearms, as it gives you some breathing space between majority of melee classes.

Use the Glaive, or if you like a challenge and also prefer low upkeep, the Long Bardiche.

I just don't read anything in yellow or pink. Tom's purple and Tear's cyan are at least readable, but if it's in a color so close to the background color, it can't be important.
