Also: devs giving support on piratebay comment section.

That's some courage. +1 from me.

Smart move.

Having players on your side is more important than anything these days.

The OST for this is great, very atmospheric. Or more specifically, shit's bumpin.

I've played it the last few days and it's really addictive action, fast-paced and more tactical than you'd think. I highly recommend it. It's a bit like a Max Payne meets Postal 1 and the old 2D GTAs, only the controls/combat system is more advanced and with a much higher skill ceiling.

And yes, the musical score is spot on and pumps you up to slam a door in the face of an enemy, knock his mate to the ground with a baseball bat, throw the bat into the face of another just then coming around the corner, cut the first ones throat with his own knife his desperate hands failing to stem in the blood spray, the other crawling around the floor pathetically a large part of his skull missing, finish the last one off with a drill through the eye, pinkish brain matter sipping through the empty socket, 4 seconds passed and thousands of points earned, you grinning behind your animal-face mask increasingly apathetic towards the brutality of it all  8-)

Same game publisher as serious sam? Must be good! Have seen the trailers when devolver popped them up on youtube but i didnt pay much attention to them, but they actually do look like something i would enjoy. Always preffered GTA2 over the newer ones etc..

Lol what a flashy game, tried it, not bad at all. I like the difficulty and how you need to plan stuff ahead or get one shotted :D

Also music is very fitting.

Love getting a good combo in, like slamming a door into one guy, punch another one and take his leadpipe to smash a third one, then finish the 2 knocked guys with the pipe, pick a shotgun up and shoot a fourth guy, also luring 2 more guys that you shoot as soon as they enter the room. Ah, im going to enjoy repeating chapters to get A's :)

Barged in, one owned by the door slam, 2 killed with one shot from the shotty, threw the shotty into the fourth one, picked up a bat, hid behind the door and when the next 2 came I hit the doors with the bat and the door slammed them to death :D

29th october :

To me, this game has everything. Excellent gameplay, excellent musical and graphical atmosphere, excellent open ended scenario. It is very tarantino-esque on the outside but goes in fact beyond that. If you finish the game then read all the dialogues again it starts to make sense, and my interpretation is something I've never seen in a videogame before.

Just played through this in one go. Had been interested in it before but never got around to buying it. Very fun and intense game, anyone who doesn't have it yet should pick up the current Humble Bundle ASAP.

I played alot of it a while ago, it's a great little indie title, love the difficulty of it, one hit and your done, have fun starting from the beginning again. It's been out for a while now, don't know why you guys are so late. Suggest you all play it, it'll make you rage

Ps, the story is also pretty nice, and yes the soundtrack is amazing

Its because its on sale in the humble bundle now or something, not everyone bought it on release.

Im considering getting this on my PS vita, when they release it for it. Could be awesome, dont know if it will be comfortable to play with joysticks though..

Should be fine with joysticks. IMO it plays better on gamepads.

Well, I just did a second playthrough where I collected all the masks and solved the puzzle for the secret ending. That sequel can't come soon enough.

I'm the latecomer here, the last post before mine was in February. Like I said I never got around to buying it when it was new, figured I'd bump this to tell others who didn't get it yet about the sale.

Never was a fan of games like this so don't mind my trolling when I say I think this game looks boring.

Just take a leap of faith. It was a lot more exciting than I was expecting, so I think it would also prove some of your preconceptions about it wrong. The gameplay is incredibly tight and addictive, and the mood is great, largely thanks to the top-notch soundtrack.

Here's a video of a speedrun to show what this game can be like when you're really in the zone.
