PLEASEDONTBEANGR is this not offensive to some people ?????????? rule #3 "No offensive character names. If in doubt about a name, pick another one." I have screenshot of his name if necessary. I did not see him making any racists comments or jokes but the name alone should never have been allowed in my opinion.

I would also like to point out that when you create a character the name PleaseDontBeAngry would fit so no that is not what he means by it.

well if that is your choice not much i can do about that. But it is racist if someone see's it the way that I do. Way to stand by your own rules though. "No offensive behavior anywhere." If one person is offended then that should be enough for it to be offensive. Or am i the one being offensive because im offended by it ? lol

Being offended is a conscious choice. You look at his name, and you choose to become upset. You allow yourself to be filled with negative emotion, when you could make a conscious decision to refrain from that.
The fault lies with you. You're giving that man power over your mind by allowing yourself to be offended. Not even kidding. Don't take text on the internet so damn seriously.

But we also can't be at the whim of everyone who says everything is offensive and are forced to change the world for them.
Our rules are very vague on this point so it's hard to control peoples words and I think it's the point. To allow freedom but it's at the admins discretion whats offensive or not.
In this case it would be easy to ask the person to change his name to make it for sure not offensive, because to choose that name he is trying to obviously sneak around the rules and use the word to be funny.

Yea normally im the first one on borderline racist names but I dont see an issue here. Locking this thread as there have already been 2 admins saying no issue.
