Title: Mature Nords

Hello, guys. I wanted to stop flame wars and I personally stopped posting in this section in Nords threads. I also asked Andswaru to ask his members to stop these forum flamewars and stop giving me random minuses to my posts. He promised to talk to his members and stop this. One day passes and I see my infamy growing more and more. Guess what happens? Yes, Nordic Kids™ attacked my renown/infamy ratio.

Just visit this link http://forum.meleegaming.com/profile/?area=showposts;u=1815 and look at any of the last posts and you'll see minuses from at least 2 of Nords to each of my posts (sometimes other Nords do that aswell or other UIF forum warriors).

It's actually kinda amusing since I like that people put effort to such things (though, whom am I lying to? it's just childish  :lol:). Even if you make my infamy the same as GTXes - I won't take part in these forum wars, since I'd better kill you on the battlefield.

Is there any way left you can waste your reputation even further? You know, the reputation is not in these renown or infamy stats. You can continue giving me minuses, I don't care if I have lots of them, it just showed your real faces once again. Deal with it  8-)

To be honest, I don't even know why we have a + or - section in the diplomacy section.Perhaps someone could enlighten me as to what purpose it serves? Strat has a tendency to turn even the most laid back and enjoyable people into utter hypocrites and overly defensive ass holes. No subforum is safe from it, but this section is literally like a breeding ground for favoritism and subjective reasoning. I'm pretty positive that about eighty percent of my down votes come from the posts I made in the diplomacy section in last strat(many were deserving, many weren't). Even i'm guilty of down voting certain players in the past simply for speaking in advocacy of their strat faction if they had gone to war with us. This is just my experience of NA politics anyway. Things on Eu's end don't seem to be much different though from what ive read and heard.

This is kinda funny since Bjord has been raging a war of hatred at me ingame for no particular reason. Still don't know what the kid has against me, he just started hating me for no particular reason back in ye olde days.

One would think the ban he got from harassing kinngrimm would do anything, but meh, kids gonna be kids.

I've minused a lot of your posts in Dave, especially in the diplomacy section. Some are because what you are saying is "lies and slander"™, wrong or just something I simply disagree with. Nothing personal on why I + or -, it all depends on the content of the post itself. There's a lot of posts of yours that I agree with and they get a + the same way any other post I agree with/find funny/am amused by gets a +. Same can be seen with other forum posters like Teeth. Guys a lunatic and seems to be a proud wearer of the tin-foil hat when you read his posts concerning strat, but when he comes with a something I agree with, by god, I give that guy a + like a catholic priest gives out "candy" in a unsupervised kindergarten.

I'm a member of Nordmen and I don't go around spamming minuses on you. What others do, I don't really give care, but I'm not doing it and I'm a Nordman so sorry, it's not the Nordmen doing it.

Maybe they just don't agree with you, maybe they did it because the lutefisk god commanded them to do it, or maybe they just did it for zeh lulz. I don't know why, but does it matter?

Not saying that Peter and Thovex isn't minusing all your post, but I bet most people using the forums regularly could find enough posts where one or two members of the same clan/faction/religion/kindergarten/sexual orientation/penis size minuzed them and made a nice post about how that or this group is slandering their Internet reputation.

What a load of bullshit, I could dig up more than a dozen posts where you minused me for no reason, so get off that high horse you fucking hypocrite. And stop flattering yourself, I don't care about you one bit to "rage a war" against you. Frankly, I just mute you as soon as you start talking to me/about me. Same goes for all your forum warriors/loudmouths like Mrs. Melancholy aka koldblow, Thovex and Vidar.

I like the Nordmen, I really do. But letting Thovex and you in was a mistake. It's hard to not join in the flamewar and trash talk your whole clan when kids like Thovex do it to us, but I don't and I don't think I ever will, because I don't want to insult some of the guys in Nordmen that I consider friends.

Don't bother replying, kid.

Also for the record, while I don't care for Teeth, he is far more mature and reasonable than you, Zapper. You're not above him, so don't talk like you are.

Risen already got a reputation for 'special' behaviour and immaturity on the forums, don't expect them to act different just because they have a different clan tag now.

Nordmen always struck me as a serious and gentlemanly clan. Very surprised that you accepted ex-Risen so eagerly. Might have to do some educating to prevent having that reputation ruined in months. I personally am able to distuingish the ex-Risen from the old Nordmen, but others might be unable to not project their behaviour on the entire clan.

Why do you think that is? I barely see the old Nordmen members post (except for koldblow but he's been bitching and crying like that for ever), Thovex who is at the moment muted (too bad he'll drop below 50% soon) and Zapper are the only guys who are shitposting all over the forums continuously. And at the same time, the old Nordmen don't make any effort to unaffiliate themselves with their vulgar and obnoxious attitudes so I'm starting to think they don't mind their behaviour, and that's when my dislike for those kids are slightly projected on the Nordmen, whom I otherwise respect a lot.

Well, no matter to who you do such things - it's always non pleasant even if one doesn't care about it. So I see no sense in keeping this thread open. Haters gonna hate and these kids will grow up sooner or later. But this thread left a sign showing who is who once again (I bet these Nords will be claimed as forum warriors forever)  :rolleyes: Hereby I swear I won't post in Strategus section before this Strat ends (unless I report a bug) because each time I do this - I feel that I fall down to their level which gives me no respect from the community. I also recommend to do the same to all cool Nords (Gurni and bagge i.e.) and all the other cool people who downshift here.

PS. You can downvote me as much as you want - I'll anyway have a better fake infamy than your real. I can't beat Cicero in that, deal with it  8-)
