As an archer, I have recently went on many servers, of all the cav, there was one that was surprisingly more effective than others, the high-agi jousting lancer arabian ponycav (HAJLAP) It made me think, if they nerf cavalry badly enough, like archery, many cav will resort to high agi no risk builds, I'm not asking for cav to not be nerfed, but to think about the consequences of a cav nerf. Be careful when nerfing please.

So many nerfs have had unintended consequences over the course of c-rpg which leads to people bitching about something else that is now a problem because of the "fix" to a previous "issue".
Most nerfs were not necessary IMO, and the biggest problem is that infantry wants to play the game likes it's counter-strike and not like it's a medieval combat simulator.
Fighting in formations (even shitty loose formations) counters most of the whine and complaints people can come up with in regards to cavalry and archery.

I don't know about you guys but I play crpg as a gladiator combat simulator and there can only be one champion

...it's a medieval combat simulator.

yeah who dont want to play as a team should pay the price
edit: and as much as i hate archery so derp i have to admit many nerfs were unessecary and made archery gay as fuck what it now is, the new animations and the disabling of ladders and lower stock of arrows were understandable but everything else wasnt they should definitly able to carry their 2h weapon again so they may go into melee instead of bitch kitting

When I am cav, I jam my horse into "formations" all the time. More often then not, the end result was one of them died and my horse would take an arrow to the butt as I rode away.
Pub formations just aren't very effective. When I am melee and stick around with the group one of three things usually happened:
1. A horse would roll through the group even though there were pikes and hoplites
2. I get constantly teamwounded
3. I am at the front of the group and go to engage the enemy, only to find out that the rest of the group was too chicken shit to engage and had all S keyed away to safety.

Do you think only archery should be exempt from the slot system? I would be fine with archers having a 2h sword if it means I can have a twohandeder, shield, and a pocket pike. Also, archers can still be hybrids and use a horn bow and a 1 slot two hander (mace/langes messer/etc) or a one hander. But it is easier to just kite.

This. I've started playing pike recently because I have no talent and don't feel like trying hard, and the most frustrating thing this game brings along is coward teammates who don't use teamwork. I find myself constantly rolling with groups of 4+ and I'll engage 4 or less people and find my entire group ran the other way to chase a peasant or run after a horse they have no chance of catching.

This state is already reached. No horse but a +3 Arabian can turn fast enough not to crash in the outer walls of the maps all the time if you have any speed already.

when 95% of a class are all using the same overpowered weapon, you should be able to take a bit hint that something isnt balanced. Remove couch from all thrustable lances

Have you played counter strike? I'm pretty sure you use the guns available in the game to shoot from a distance, not club each other with 4 directional attacks and blocks, although that would be very amusing.
By the way, this is not a medieval combat simulator. If it is, it's the most unrealistic and silly simulator ever created.
