Phoenix Company is a clan of mercenaries best described as organized barbarians.  We are not a role-playing clan by any means except for the very superficial "flavor" of the clan.  Currently as Strategus is on hold we are primarily a siege/battle server group, with an emphasis on hybrid range/melee style characters, though all builds are accepted.  Once Strategus is back up and running ideally we will have a base of operations (a single holding/keep) and work as independent contractors for hire.

The core tenants of PxC are:
Maturity - Some people get their kicks out of acting infantile, being vulgar and generally acting like children fascinated with poop.  That's not how we roll.  Don't spam chat with such purile nonsense and instead try to act in a mature and professional manner.

Respect - Clanmates, teammates and enemies alike;  Show respect to the other players on the server.  Some friendly quips at another player are fine, but malicious harrassment and aggressively dis-respecting another player is highly frowned upon.  It's poor sportsmanship and shows poor character as well.

Teamwork - Try to work with your team and your clan-mates most of all.  When organized and working together, 2 swords are always better than one.  If you see your clan-mate getting harassed by ranged weapons while he's fighting, try to move in a position to cover him with your shield.  Move to assist them with that lawlcrusher bearing down upon them.  Duels are for the duel servers.  In battle (and siege/strat) there is no mercy; you and your clanmate should corner that last enemy and leave him no avenue for escape from your blades.

Good Sportsmanship -
* Do not exploit broken mechanics (ladderpaulting/ ladder teleporting/ getting outside the map, etc). 
* Do not leech or delay the rounds.  Running is fine as long as you actually have a plan for counter attack; IE- drawing the enemy around a corner to snake them once there or moving to a more favorable position to fight (stairs, small areas to limit their numbers). 
* Do not hit, kick, punch, harrass, wound your teammates whether it is the beginning or end of the round, horse or player, peasant or armored tank.

Leave the trolling on the forums where it belongs.  In-game try to follow these simple tenants at all times.

So what happened to reviving this clan and having a coordinated leadership? Ive seen nothing new, we are still the same as if u, Mike, never took leadership. Ive saw Thucydides try and get people together to go up against chaos but no one came forward. We seem to be lacking participation in this clan. I dont see many of you anymore. It seems like when gorath took a less active role so did the clansmen too. Sadness

What happened was life hit hard for alot of us. Most of became very busy. Though it was extremely hard to get some of the stubborn guys back on after that. Gorath, i dont even see gorath online anymore and its confusing when he is or isn't. It was only joint till he told me he was taking it back so thats that. I message people to come online and sometimes they do, but the truth is, its not me, its not gorath, but the people in the clan itself that are draining us. There was a time when wed all be on teamspeak and just wait for other members to come on, but that i so gone. Ronan, i never see you online anymore :/ so i dont know how much you can see us. And yea, It is sad. I had really high hopes for this, but im struggling completely to get anything done...... And with NONE of the officers online EVER i feel that i shouldnt make any decisions... It would help with people would let me know whats going on too

lol, I never said I was "taking it back".  All I said was "No, you can't change the name.  No, you can't change the banner.  No, PxC will never go away as long as I'm playing cRPG."   :P  Sadly I hardly see you guys much, but that's mostly because of my work hours being insane.  I try to get on for an hour when I'm home at night, but it's usually around midnight and often I just go pass out before I'm up and off to work again.  On the weekends I'm on quite a bit more, this last weekend on for a large chunk of time.  Played with a bunch of our buddies, but only saw Pure_PxC throughout both days.

Yeah sorry guys, I lone wolf a lot because i'm on for only an hour at a time. I can't take 2 hours of CRPG in a row and still play well. I was wondering about the CHAOS scrim but no one except for ronan came forward, then i got lazy and nothing was done.

 I just have fun playing, the talking distracts me from playing.

Yea those days were my first in like a week lol but I just got a headset not even 10 min ago so I might be on more if I can get away from this one other game.

First, I would like to say; you are acting like an immature 10 year old about this whole thing. I never passed the buck and when we spoke I took responsibility, like you failed to mention. Insults, are not necessary, though you sir are surely a bumpkin. Maybe if you would have answered me on steam, or in messages, you would have seen that we have steam group meetings and discuss the current happenings. You are the least informed out of all of the more active bunch of guys. Let's work together to solve this if you have so many ideas. I think that this inter-clan arguing is getting us nowhere. Not even in the clan anymore. Took a 1 month break came back to turmoil and didn't wanna be apart of it. Enjoyed it while it lasted, but it's not the same anymore. Quite frankly the only person who can keep the clan going and running is Gorath and no one else. Gorath unfortunately at the moment isn't on much due to jobs and real life which we can't blame him for that's just how the cookie crumbles.

Probably xant, I want to make it clear right now, That without Gorath, the man that formed this clan, and got most of it together, we are still running. We have active members that are loyal to the clan. Though i was not expecting to have to do everything when i took over, it turned out i did. Just as well i will continue to do so. The clan is not a shell of itself, but the mindset that you had of it, and the ability to deal with it is a shell. PxC isnt dead, and wont be dead anytime soon. Consider this the rebirth.

Yup.  I posted it in the OTHER PxC thread (forgot there were two) that I just don't have the time to lead/run a clan anymore with my workschedule.  I barely have time to be an effective grunt.  The responsible thing to do was to step aside, wish the members of PxC luck (and new leader, whomever that turned out to be) and get out of the way.

Man sorry about ur job, don't worry about clan we are actually more active now post fearless leader, as far as I am concerned I really want all of PxC to decide by consent who should be the new Fearless Leader, that's the reason there is ambiguity on who is in charge not because no one wants to lead, I just have always felt a Organization is meant to empower its member and I want us all to decide

As always any questions on builds any issues just pm me , I've been disseminating my best builds to members as I find them online, every who can let's play this weekend maybe we can have some rape squads on siege like last Sunday that was a blast

Hmm... Are we getting together on sat? I might take it 'off' to relax and play. My legs are killing me... Ill be on tonight for a while, so close to retiring. Im having trouble deciding my new build. I know I want to be cav. I just cant decide pole-arm or 2h. I miss my axe on horse but Ive used lances and its easy mode compared to 1h cav. Im dropping my throwing since it was crazy nerfed. I still got a few days til I retire.

BTW once I have a new job it will be a matter of time before I get a mic. Plan on it before fall hits.

Pros and cons both way.  From what I have seen we have officers, they would technically be the ranking members/leadership.  They have been pretty low key, not trying to be dictatorial or anything that I have seen.  yet in game, if we listen in TS, they give directions on coordinated attacks and strategy.  And if you ask them, I've had them stop mid battle at spawn and teach me some things or while running tell me things.  LOADS of info (been taking notes lol).  Strat... mmmm may take more coordination, I dunno.  We have someone (was it Kronic?) that is into organizing that pretty well already.  We may not need to change much of anything as it is.

Either way, we'll work it out.  : )

Oh, and no need for a new thread at the moment.  He updated the roster.

1)  Block
2)  Feint
3)  Have an attack release when it's supposed to

Instead of the terribad lag preventing all of that.

Although both of those reworked flags are nice, especially the second one.  I prefer the old.  One reason is because I can identify team mates halfway across the map.  Nobody else has a flag that even remotely looks like it.  Also some of the darker flags blend in to the surroundings on some maps and during bad weather.

I don't think it wasn't that someone didn't have the balls, specially since it doesn't take any to lock the thread. We used our own website for our information and basically ignored this thread. Most of the players just simply walked away from the game.
