Title: Best car scenes in a movie?

I start with a classic: Bullitt! Mustang vs Charger... there is no better car scene. A lot of good ones but... nothing tops Bullitt

I always liked a modern car chase too and still enjoy watching it:

And why is Bullitt better?
Simple: Awesome cars, no stupid music over the engine sounds, no sound editing done for tire squels and stuff and considering the awful ride qualities of those cars, the driver did a hell of a job... and Steve McQueen  8-)

Yea, I actually forgot about this one... that's really a cool scene. The whole movie is kinda nice cuz it's somehow different.
