Title: Deepfreeze and Cd keys

Hi how do I play the game with a deepfreeze computer. I have to reinstall warband everyday because of deepfreeze and everyday it askfs for my cd key. After too many times it will start saying invalid cd key.

Does anyone know of this problem and how I solve it. Please help the people with deepfreeze.

Wait, wait why would you need to deep freeze a normal pc?
What does it have in it? Goverment files?
If you're scared of viruses and stuff get a anti-virus no need to deep freeze it...

maybe youre just not supposed to play this game.

but hey: do you know your cd-key now? guess i'd know it after the 10th time i have to type it in.


EDIT: Get steam! you dont have to use your cd-key anymore, just install steam, login and play.

Hmm ok well the places I know that have deepfreeze are school, work, and internet cafes. Also I would buy the game on Steam if only they would accept prepaid visa cards.

I allready tried that but it seems the game does funky things with library paths when you try to launch it from an usb stick. It's worth some new tests, I did it a long time ago.

install it on usb. if needed copy it to pc. if it gets deleted - you copy it again.

guys you are forgetting one vital thing...
registry keys...
Without them it just does not work that well...
Only game I know without registry keys, is WoW!

Registry keys is mostly just to tell the installation path of the game, and other stuff similar.

Just export all your warband registry keys, and problem solved.
