--Description--

Models and textures replacing of those awful "Surcoat over Mail".
These armor are among the most used in the Middle Ages, and it is not normal as it is so awful in this game..

I create multiple textures to have a good variety of choices.
Brf also contains an heraldic version, but I do not have a successful run on the cRPG so I do not have screenshots.

The model is the "Surcoat over Mail", which has a mail hood.

Contains feminized frames and lods.

The original colors are... how do I put this... colors. Much more beautiful and much more fitting to the era. Only starting from the 19th century mankind started to have a fetish with black, white and sometimes grey. Your yellow looks green and your green, brown, blue, red and black all look the same.

Also, the character used as a model looks like he's a violent person that has to go through anger management, and one of his parents most probably was a Homo sapiens neanderthalensis.

Yellow is too green.
Green is good.
Brown is good.
Blue looks too dark.
White is too grey.
Red is good.
Black is good.

Still good stuff, though. Implement pretty please.

Yellow was def too green.White is pretty fine with me, red is a bit dark.

There are what make this head with all archers, xbow and other ranged cross on the battlefield  :mrgreen:

For colors, I'll change it a bit because it is true that my yellow is not very yellow.. :oops:
The problem is that I do not want to find myself with textures flashy as those that already exist

I precise that I also use some graphics mods can make the game a little darker and less colorful.

Problem is in the middle-ages people preferred saturated colors, unlike us now. It is natural for us to desaturate our representations of medieval stuff to make it look old, but the game takes place when it wasn't old. The original colors are more historically accurate.

And a week later they became saturated with human waste and dirt.

Never to be washed with bleach.

 Is say the interperitation is spot on.

I don't really have much trouble with the current ones, but these look good aswell. Might be a nice compromise between the neon colours that we have now and the dark colours you used before, but I don't really mind the neon colours. What I do like though is that you put the good looking belt from the regular mail with surcoat on the different colour versions, which had a shitty looking belt before.

A more important issue for me is the horrible stats these armours have. I love the look of these things but they are like the ultimate anti min max armor as far as stats go. Increase their body armour please!

I prefer tabard simply for the less-buggyness chains look bad between legs and shoulders are glitchy on Surcoat.
