so basically you want a 2nd version of the knightly heater shield?  waste of time, and same ugly model as board shield

also REAL targes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Targe) are round

This shield is progress of heater shield. Its advantage is in its concavity form. Lances slide on it. And this shield usually has hollow for lance. I made mistake with its name in english. In russian it sounds like tarch. In germany tartsche. Poland - tarcz, old France - targa. So i renamed it into tartsche.

Why not? Now we have 4 versions of practice shields. what for? And why we cant have 2 vrsions of knightly heter shield?

I updated model. Now its more concavity.
Felix, i have a plan to make heirloom models too. And i want to make their form like on your pictures with more facets.

Aw, I liked it more as a tiny board shield.
