Many of the top tier helms because they don't go with anything, like the tophelm's, Gotland. Mayhaps if they had a better texture for every one else's choices, plate/ heavy plate.

What?  It's not our fault that Kuyak looks like a turd draped over a series of belt buckles that almost everyone sees as some beautiful gift from chadz.

In reality, it's probably the ugliest, most overused piece of defecation I've ever had the misfortune of having clan members wear :(

Besides obvious choices like the Heavy Plate? I like the general aesthetic of the native Heraldic Mails, as many do, but there are a number of things about them that are a deal breaker for me. The mail texture on all of them is ridiculously blocky and low resolution for some reason, which makes the sleeves on all of them and the hems of the surcoat variant look ridiculous, and the tunic variant has those derpy looking kneecops that totally ruin the look. The fact that the ends of the sleeves also clip through most of the non-native glove models is also a point of irritation for me. It's like Taleworlds wasn't even trying with it.

#2 Peltastos Armor - matches NOTHING in the game, while it may fall within realistic colors RE: medeival dye tinctures, looks bad no matter what you pair it with.

lol at the people who hate or find Kuyak ugly...

It is among best looking armors we have  :lol:

Only good armors are the ones that have been imported from other mods all the native ones looks like trash  :lol:

My most hated pack are the mail armors the ones with heraldic the mail texture one those things make them look like a large pixel gangbang

You can hate on Kuyaks all you want, but if they weren't this popular, no one wouldve listed them here. They have outstanding texture quality.

For the heraldic, having cloth over mail was normal. Youknow, keeps teamwounding irl to a minimum. (Sometimes)

The hauberk is generally the same thing, minus the shirt.

Also, agree on the Medieval Plate helmets. They got funny.

Yeah I bought one when they first came out, was hugely disappointed wearing it in game.  These helmets are bad ass IRL, they look like some sort of space helmet in game (or those old school scuba helmets).

I think it's mainly because the 3D model is too simple to give justice to the craftsmanship.

I'm not really sure how can people hate good quality armors of certain eras. Like for example the black armors, especially the striped one. It's a pretty accurate one historically and really doesn't stand out in any terrible way graphically. I mean it's the armor people used to wear that time. If you don't like it why not get rid of flamberges, pikes, messers etc. as well?

Oh I know they are correct and they are fairly detailed, but the Black Armor with Stripes has entirely too much color going on. What is it.. Red and Green striped pants, then robin egg blue with brown striped sleeves, then the armor itself is black/white? UGH! It just makes my stomach lurch. Now the Black Armor itself is textured nicely. Much enjoy that one.

Both byzantion helmets. They look like circus hats.
Mail and plate and light mail and plate. Just ugly.
Vaegir Elite armor. Baby barf green.
Not a fan of the gothic plate's pants, either.
