21/18 if you like fighting in the open, by yourself, or using footwork.  its what i do because i go alone or use stabs in group fights that benefit from athletics

27/12 if you like being a hard hitting high HP bastard who excels at group fighting.  very good but i just don't like the low speed.  if you don't mind moving slow, its probably the easiest 2hand build to do well with.

24/15 is a little bit of both, but too slow for my playstyle.

remember skip the fun has no cooldown so you can try out every build before you decide on one with your main.

yeah haha I know EU agility builds are like 15/24, with 21/18 I'm seriously faster than 90 percent of players as a 2hander.  NA players are stupid

Try a balanced build and get maxed wpf and IF then at lvl 30 you can get riding/throwing or shield skill. 21/15 18/18 15/21 24/12(avoid this one).

Remember use stf to sort out what you want and remember ath builds are really weak until well leveled so don't give up on the straight away. If you are going to get throwing or PD put some wpf aside.

^these builds are really versatile and the ability to pick up a shield whenever you want can be very good. You get good toughness from these builds as well due to maxed IF. They are a bit outdated now but if you are sick of being defenseless against ranged I would give it a shot.

Start every battle with a long dagger sidearm (to use with the shield)

21/18. Suggestion: you could try 18/21 as well, if you don't intend to use the great maul.
