In my opinion 1 length isn't worth 0.2 kg AND 1180 gold at all.

But i see a lot of people with longsword, why ?

This doesn't exist only for the two-handed swords. The situation with the 1h ones are even worse. For 2k gold you get 1 cut damage more. Wtf is up with that?

Also, I just noticed a Longsword is cheaper than all these 1h swords. Lol. Make 1handers cheaper!
EDIT: Also, the 1handers require more strength too :/

Liuyedao has 1 more speed than Niuweidao at the cost of 1 cut damage. However, its price of 3973 is significantly lower than the 6058 of the Niuweidao. Liuyedao any day of the week. :P

 short sword vs broad short sword

4000 gold for 5 reach 1 cut.

Or short sword vs short arming sword. 1000 gold for 1 speed (102->103)

I have been thinking, why would anyone buy Dark Blue Heavy Norman Shield? it has 1 less hit point but same price  :|

This is serious problem, it is breaking this game.

Did you check what are the stat once in game ? it's most likely an error from the dev.

I still use the KAS over the LAS for the 1 extra cut :P  But then again, money ain't a thing for me since I stopped retiring and sold a loom point.

It seems to me that after 5000 (or 10000 for 2 handers) you are more or less paying for the luxury of a slightly better weapon. If you can afford it, why not?

Cept the HBS is the sexiest weapon ever and ultimately making me more stylish as I spread the win through out the server. So Longsword users dont have a chance nor will they ever look as good either!

I quess its the matter of looks. Personally, I never liked the bastard swords looks. I dunno why. But the Longsword. Fell in love with it the first time I played this mod. I dont care even if they nerf the longsword to have 20 less damage, I will still always choose it. :rolleyes:

Well for the difference between 1 cut that'll end up making a slightly more miniscule difference when PS, speed bonus and locational bonus comes into play. I guess the same goes for weight when it comes to resisting block stun.
