Answer please.

You can respec your STFs, so I don't see why not.
-
Yeah, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to respec your main if it was STF'd because you can respec your STF alts, but the real question is why you would even consider doing such a thing as STF'ing your main.

Switching your Strategus role with ease?

Switching your Strategus role with ease?
Yeah, I guess so.
I was just thinking that it would basically be a waste of time for anyone who has already retired, considering the extra exp gain would be useless at that point.
But yeah, changing your build at every available opportunity to optimize yourself in strategus... that's a good idea.

You could even change your role mid battle. Short on archers but have bows? Respec and rejoin!

Indeed but let's be honest. How many of us over lvl 33 would do such a thing? If this is possible then maybe it would lower down the high level mains. Well I don't know if it's even possible to use STF main...

As it says on the respec page you can respec your STF main one time and that's it.
-
k, guess I'll need some 1+ looms before deleting my main and creating a new STF one.
Also Tom, I'm gen 4, I've not grinded hard enough gens to actually care for my exp bonus.

A few weeks later all those high level mains would however just be high level alts...
