Where are the step by step instructions on how to create your own clan flag?

I can't seem to find it.

You could hire this guy to make you a banner:

Here's a blank one.  If you don't have photoshop, there's a free program called GIMP that might work too:

To have it show up in game you'd have to create a clan in the ladder menu on c-rpg.net then bid on a banner slot which are auctioned off on the market.

Yea but where's the step by step on how to get your banner implemented is what i'm asking. I already have a clan made and understand I need to win an auction first, but thats about it.

Just win auction and then go clan\banner section and there u will find all u need to add your banner, its pretty easy!

and is the auctions for "Exclusive Banner A1-5" as an example?

Exactly! Just click on this auction and read description! After you win it you will get ability to add your own banner and change background collor!
