Sorry if this sounds like a QQ topic but I'm really curious... what is the point of strat?
During the last round I was part of a clan but was rather passive, so basically only crafting/recruiting and transferring stuff. Ok good, thats like pressing some buttons every few days.
Now in Strat 4 I do what?
Changing troop cap to recruit - ok
Playing crpg to get strat tickets - ok
Transferring troops and gold - ok
and now?
Maybe I've just not seen the main point here, but for a regular member what else is there?
-
I dunno, that seems more like a problem with the way your clan is being run.
-
I am soloing and trading around. I go from village to village trading and equiping my troops. One day I will be attacked, and I will have fun with that battle (and maybe give up trying to start it over again), until then, I will keep getting some gold, as it takes only a few minutes a day to organise it, then a day or two to travel...

It seems that you are not a faction player. Cause in big faction you must do what your faction leader will say to do. You give all you have to your clan and don't do anything else. It's boring. Only faction leaders play in interesting strategic game, other players serve them

If your faction won't let you play the game and have fun then simply leave and either solo or find a faction that will.
As for the point. You are either soloing/working actively in a small group to make gold to put into the "bank" so you can win looms. Or you are in a clan vying for e-peen and Strat Power :D These options aren't mutually exclusive though so you can do both depending on the faction

How to win looms? Are they for use in crpg then? This might be one aspect that catches my interest

it's not feature complete:
Update 16.09.2012
8) Banking / Winning
You can now put strat gold into a banking account. There, it will receive interest of 2% per day. You cannot take money out of the bank account. At the end of this round, there will be (about) 200 looms given out in total. To distribute it, all of the money in the bank will be summed up (eg 1,000,000), then divided by the amount of looms (eg 200). This results in the threshold to be guaranteed a loom (eg 5000). For every 5000 in your bank account, you would get 1 loom. If you don't have exactly 5000, the rest money will be used for a drawing (if you have 6000, you have 1 fixed loom + a 1000/5000, so a 20% chance, to win a loom. Works also for people with less than 5000 in total)

And when will the round end...?
-
In about a year earliest I assume.
