Only thing I can think of is that I sold half(killing the S&D in that location) and then moved somewhere else.

Distance bonus formula has changed.
Max bonus stays the same but the min bonus is now -50%.

So, you're telling me that travelling 15kM-17kM and make negative gold on it?
-
Noooooooooo..... :|
-
Basically stops a potential exploit of having 2 villages close together and not worrying about the travel bonus at all and just setting one village to high goods cost and the other to a low goods cost for a huge profit with little risk...
-
Well it effectively murdered that exploit. I can see how much it was used while I was planning the next trade route. So much S&D from high priced fiefs is GONE. We definitely need to work on prosperity/trade routes
-
I think -50% is too much of a hit though. Someone moved 15,000 meters and was still at -17% bonus...

Impossible.
at 14k it's 0, 27km is 120%, 35 is 200% 47 is 300%. Sounds fair. I like it.
-
I moved 15,185m so far and have 10%. Sad thing is, it basically forces you to buy at lower prize and sell at higher prize. Buying and selling at same prize (15) doesn't provide enough profit now without travelling for several days. :?
-
i can get a nearly 200% bonus by traveling 28 hours. It's not hard, you just have to find a good route you want.
-
Well ofc it depends on how much you carry.

Just quoting this so you can't edit it any more.

fixed?

I'm pretty sure chadz is referring to the fact that your statement is effectively the same as complaining that the battle mode requires you to kill people or that sieges have too many castles. Buying low and selling high is the most obvious rule of trading.
-
Impossible.

Oh well that's just fine then...going 14k for 0% bonus seems just fine...I thought it was 0% at 25,000 meters, which would be too far.
-
Exactly 20 kilometers moved is +50%. From that to like 50 it's 8 to 10 percentile units per kilometer of course so it's probably worth moving more if you have the time and suitable route of course, but let's see:
20km at 20m/min = 16.6 hours. Profit before taxes is 50% of the good price if you sell at the same price you buy before taxation. Not bad at all.
-
That will be a substantial bump :D
We have some looted goods (as some of you perfectly know, hehehe). On some of these goods we have a negative bonus in our fiefs, despite the fact they originate from very distant locations. It seems that the bonus is calculated from the place they were looted, not from the place of origin.
Does any of you guys have similar experience, or is it another annoying bug?
-
Isn't that just a display bug? I think it updates when you bring it into a fief.
-
Nope. The data were collected in the fief.
-
try transferring it to fief inventory then back to player. Otherwise I get you are boned.

We'll do that just to check. In the meantime, we started to move the goods somewhere else and the bonus is increasing, it is positive now. The funny part is that the goods re moved in the direction of the place of origin, and the bonus is going up :D

Sell a part of it (1 goods), ignoring what is displaying, and see if the income is right or wrong: that way you will know if its just a display bug, else you will only know when you did all the way back for nothing :P

It is NOT a display bug, the actual sale price is exactly as calculated. We are thinking about carrying the stuff to the place of origin to find out what bonus we can get :-)
