If we're trading villages would there be any downside to just having the other people attack it, or would it be better for the village (production points or population, prosperity, etc) if we were to transfer it over?
-
We found the best way to transfer it is to have the person who wants it, apply to your faction, transfer it to them, they leave your faction, and rejoin their own.
It is done in like 3 minutes.
Transferring to someone out of your faction doesn't work (we tried it)

Here is what i know from last strat:
You attack the village and show up yourself (else its autoloose ;) ) there are 2 options:
- NO enemy shows up (at all) : the village goes to the attackers and looses the population(regrows slowly)
-1 enemy shows up, you take down flags and kill the guy: village keeps 299 population, u get the village, all is well
Thats basicly what can happen.
The main downside of attacking a fief instead of transfering it is the 24 houre lockdown of the attacker imo.
€: for the transfer stuff: what tanken said ;)

You'd need to have the owner in the fief to transfer though, correct? You can't transfer a fief between clan members if they're not both in the fief can you?
