How does this work?
-
it's not feature complete:
Update 16.09.2012
8) Banking / Winning
You can now put strat gold into a banking account. There, it will receive interest of 2% per day. You cannot take money out of the bank account. At the end of this round, there will be (about) 200 looms given out in total. To distribute it, all of the money in the bank will be summed up (eg 1,000,000), then divided by the amount of looms (eg 200). This results in the threshold to be guaranteed a loom (eg 5000). For every 5000 in your bank account, you would get 1 loom. If you don't have exactly 5000, the rest money will be used for a drawing (if you have 6000, you have 1 fixed loom + a 1000/5000, so a 20% chance, to win a loom. Works also for people with less than 5000 in total)

0.o what?

I do not like the bank idea at all. Why on earth should anything in strat give you any advantage in cRPG? And yes, looms are advantage, no matter what anyone thinks.
-
What the fuck is that shit for? I wasted money on this? MAKE AT LEAST SOME WARNING on the website...
-
The Bank is designed to give small Clans and Independents a goal in Strat whilst making larger clans choose between prestige through war/conquest and financial gain in cRPG through winning looms.
-
But please don't call it bank then, call it "heirloom gambling waste deposit" or something, but not BANK.

Kind of this. I thought it automatically puts 2% of my gold into a clan bank in strat, but it's stealing it for something useless instead.

"all of the money in the bank will be summed up (eg 1,000,000)"
If I get it the final sum could be any number since it consists of all the money deposited by players so the sum of 1000000 is just an example?

I assumed the bank meant you could store money there at 2% cost per day, and could withdraw at any time...good thing I didn't fuck with it.

Tomas a question, how many looms would of gone to a clan or player outside the top 10 clans last strat?
-
The top dogs in the biggest clans get all the looms and others get nothing.

I don't know how you do it in deserters but I'm sure most clans would use the LP's on something and then put it in the clan armoury.

Bank worth only at the game's end.

Tomas can you answer my question please?

Last Strat was a cheater's paradise + it was more harsh to the players without fiefs(Try to gain some money then all fiefs have 100% tax  )

we share our women, men and children and also looms, but still, i find this system retarded

thats more like a lottery, this is a studip idea
-
Inb4 all the large clans dump allllll of their gold into the bank a few days before the next wipe

I bet the wipe will be at an unexpected time OR banking will be taken down when it will be announced.

So wait, the amount of looms that is going to be distributed is unknown? How would I know if this is a good bet to put my money on if the amount of available looms can be anything inbetween 1 and 1000? Ah well, atleast I'll always have a chance of winning one. Got a new goal once I go independent, yay!
