Title: Nordmen Strat 4 Diplomacy

We'll be starting neutral again, no alliances or grudges carried over from the previous round. Like always, our focus is simply on playing our own game and having a good time. However, we'll respond to any hostile actions with full force, and anyone who tries to gank us can count on having a ferocious enemy for the rest of the round, allying with whoever will put us in the best position to wipe them.

Good to hear. The Josho Shogunate will also not be allying with anyone at the start of this next strat. I don't think anyone wants to play mega-alliances again. But alas, people will want to play the "I win" game and they will do whatever they can to ensure that they have little to no chance of being beaten by any other clan or alliance. Personally, if that is what I want, I play single player campaign. If only others would accept that multiplayer campaigns should be left competitive and risky.

I like nordmen's stance, and I echo what Auphilia said...that being said, there should be carrot and sticks incentives and punishments to encourage factions to war their neighbors, and to discourage people from not warring.

Maybe your fiefs get more points the more often your faction wars?

Yeah, that idea was supposed to be implemented in the form of Vigilance, but apparently it didn't make it into this launch. chadz said he might still add it, though, hopefully ASAP.

We're not looking to twiddle our thumbs all round, we've just never liked getting mixed up in big-alliance wars unless we have to. There are better ways to have fun in this game.

Heard this was just a cover for what's really happening. You're actually planning on invading NA to strike at Hospitaller, then make your rounds to the Templars with resources from NA for helping with Hosps. Confirm/Deny?

Just gonna jot down here that I've quit Nordmen strat leadership today in light of new changes to the game. For diplomacy or discussion of Nordmen strat actions/policy, refer to Cooties and Andswaru.
