Post by: chimy727 on September 10, 2012, 03:58:08 am: Terrible admin. muted me and a friend for literally just swearing and when I tried to rejoin after he would not explain he banned me and my friend. No reason stated.

The highlighted is a blatant lie.

You were both spamming, in CAPS, all sorts of profanity whereas you and your friend got muted, then after not even full round (or at max 1 and a half) you both rejoin to avoid the mute and start arguing.

1 hour bans is an extremely light penalty.

After having read this post I feel like I should extend them with a couple of days. One of you also have a character named 'Speedy_Mcmy old friendget' - not exactly good behaviour and perhaps we are seeing a pattern here with you and your friend instigating disruptive behaviour.

You're both in the black book now :twisted:

Not surprised about the ban to be honest, you avoived a mute that was put in place for a reason and therefore broke the rules. Clearly "Lori" felt that you hadn't served your sentence and thus didn't unmute you. (99% of the time admins know we have you muted, we will unmute you when we think you deserve to be unmuted, spamming us on the "I" chat doesn't help your case.)
I'm pretty sure if you were muted for "swearing" then it was probably excessive in one form or another.

"Congratulations" (term used loosely! ;)) on your first complaint.

So far no ban request got denied because of it. So I don't see a huge problem. :wink:

I often questioned those kind of "unfair" ban requests where it was obvious that there was only one side of the story pointed out: I especially mean someone named Petou.

But you and other admins never considered it, I even think that I was reported for posting in ban request section.

Anyways, good that this will hopfully change in future because of new rules.
