Anyone seen this yet? When the trailers hit I didn't expect a whole lot, but I've been hearing good things and even the critics seem to like it. I'm slowly starting to get a little hyped, though I don't even have any idea when this is coming out in Finland.

Just tought about this movie yesterday. Sofar critics have been extremely pleased with it. The only thing I got to say is that f'**k 3D. Always hated going to the cinema to watch a 3d movie. Would like to watch it normal, but there are like 2 cinemas in my town. :evil:

First one was pretty disastrous in portraying the epic Judge Dredd comics, really hope this one will do better and that he'll actually keep his iconic judge helmet on this time.

Helmet never comes off, that was confirmed in the early stages of production. Apparently it's pretty faithful in general, so you can't even compare it to the Stallone film.
Reboot, not remake. They're both based on the same comic.
Reboot not remake, lol, we got a saying in Croatian "NIJE TO GOVNO TO SE PAS POSRAL" it basically means same shit different package...they remake the old movie and if they remake it ofc it will be based on the same comic. Reboot, again i lol'd :wink:
