Title: Better 2 handed sword usage for Cavalry
Post by: Valdian on September 08, 2012, 12:08:03 am
Yes you can use 2 handed swords on horseback but they turn into 1 handed weapons makeing them useless for a  dedicated 2 hander. Perhaps make it optional to have your bastard sword or katana a two handed or one handed on horseback.

If you don't use a shield, Longsword/(H)BS/Morningstar all use your 2h wpf and count as a two-hander

Step 1: Find a long piece of metal or an actual sword.
Step 2: Find a horse that is in perfect shape.
Step 3: Mount said horse with metal/sword.
Step 4: Ride at a fast pace and attempt to lean over and swing metal/sword with two hands.

It doesn't make any sense, but as gurnisson said, you use 2h wpf when you don't have a shield, and 1h when you do, even though the attack animation is exactly the same.
