Im currently wearing 17k worth of equip not changing atm regardless if i win or lose.
=> got about 10k this evening so i guess i might be able to raise my equip a bit or take a nice shield with me.
Setup mainly: Heraldic, Bastard, Pike, and medium shoes with low helmets and hands.
Whats your expierience ;)

Should be noted that at the moment the NA server is not using the upkeep system due to patch bugs.

Hey i'm also currently looking for the sweet spot and am wearing 19k worth of equips.
Setup: Mail shirt, Mail coif, Leather gloves, Khergit leather boots, Heater shield and deadly elegant poleaxe.
I still need to test it out for a longer time though.

I have tunic over mail, mail coif, round shield (dont know which, the round one with reqiurment 2) and throwing lances

I get on well with money, its not hard to upkeep this configuration, actualy thinking of upgrading a bit

I'm currently wearing all-mail armor with a heater shield and a scottish sword (total cost ~10k). I think I had to pay 2k upkeep and made more than 10k, so I think I can afford a much better weapon. Many of my kills were with looted weapons :).

Paying a little above 2k in upkeep, earned 15k after patch, but my stuff rarely breaks 8-)

On my mounted HA I was using steppe horse, aketon, felt cap, leather boots and gloves, exceptional light crossbow, steel bolts x 2, tempered longsword. Was gaining money - and I got quite a bit of playtime with that outfit. Gained quite a bit.
On my spearman/lancer I'm using a palfrey (7.5K), balanced heavy lance (4.4k base), deadly warspear (2.5k base), a kite shield (1k gold), and tribal leather (1.5K) + nordic fighter helm (+1.5K) + some leather gloves and boots (+0.5K). Making money on it too.

War bow, heirloomed bodkin arrows, heirloomed mail gauntlets, santa hat, nomad robe and leather boots - made about 5-7.5K per hour depending on consecutiveness of the wins.

Having absolutely no problems making money so far since last night. I've spent a few thousand on items and I'm still up a good bit so far. Not monitoring it closely but it seems like I'm gaining faster than pre-patch.

My heavy cata cost me 8900 upkeep when I accidentally put it on at the start of a round. If I take it off of my default equipment, it disappears on the server, so I want to keep it as default in case I need it.
Unfortunately that causes occasional losses of 9k gold.

Sad to say, but winning chances are based on 1 thing: with team have more cav.

I have 3,5k gold - 16k gold for repair of my normal EQ. All the time I'm in losing team, so in 1 hour I've earned 3k gold...

They can degrade yes. My bolts go to bent a lot. Its a little under 500 gold to repair
