Title: Power Strike Question?
Post by: Darkwulf on September 03, 2012, 10:15:21 pm
Someone told me power strike does nothing after 10.

Has this been confirmed or is it just a rumor.  Why allow more than 30 strength if you can not get more than 10 PS?

It's probably a rumor, after all with indestructable 13 shield skill shields I highly doubt they'd cap ps.

What Zlisch said. What they may have meant is that you might not notice much of a difference after 10 since 10 PS is a lot of PS.

Unless of course somebody uses blunt weapons in which case more damage = more knockdown chance.

As a guy with 11 PS a few gens now, I can confirm it adds more damage after 10.

You can thank the Warband Script Enhancer for that, without it the cap for skills is 10 and the cap for attributes is 255.

You suffer tho not having high wpf and being slower. Those 2 can be just as much  as good or even surpass ps alone

Someone posted the other day (saulcanner whatever his forum name is...vodner maybe).  And showed the relationship between PS and WPF in a melee skill.  They are not added up, they multiply off each other.  So having a decent amount of WPF is preferred over stacking it all in PS.
