I get the same message when I try to connect at work. 50-60 person office, and I guarantee nobody has ever been to the crpg IRC on this network, and I'm guessing nobody would use quakenet here either...

Have I tried downloading IRC, connecting to Quakenet, registering and logging in with an account?
No, I haven't tried that, and getting into c-rpg's IRC channel isn't that important to me. It was just nice to be able to connect to it over the web without an IRC client, and without needing to sign up or register.

It seems that Qnet has banned an IP range or something, I guess all you can do right now is wait (or try changing your IP address if it's not static). Or use a VPN :p
