Title: Heirloom Rental Service
Post by: Wonkysaurus on September 03, 2012, 03:28:39 am
Ever wanted to test drive a +3 pike? Or +3 cudgel?

Introduce a player-defined rental service. The owner of an heirloom could choose the rental agreement fee for terms of, say, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, 2 days, etc. Just a very broad idea that would need to be fine-tuned of course. Early turn-in of the loom could get you a partial refund.

Or, you could use the non loomed version and think about how it would feel with 6-10% more damage and 1% more speed, you should get a rough idea of how the loomed version would be.

Great idea, would be nice to try out some other setup's for some time, cuz i have loomed the items i like, but i would still like to try out some other loomed items for some times, so it would be nice if we could rent for money, or make a switch between our own and someone other's looms for a some time. It could have an option to cancel, when both agree about it.

With Final Boss' texture pack, I pick up random loomed weapons all the time just to enjoy the sweet textures. This "rental" service would be as much about trying out a new "look" as different weapon stats, at least for people that use the texture pack.

Ever wanted to test drive a +3 pike?

People do this nearly every time my pike ends up on the ground.

I swear, I can't put it down without someone grabbing it and running off.

Great idea, suggested before a lot.

Add taxes on it and you got another gold sink we all love.

For those who want to try different mw's and arent in a (rich) clan.
