Title: Way to communicate to players not using forums.
Post by: Cepeshi on August 31, 2012, 09:04:51 am
Hello,
i was wondering. Would it be possible to add something to the cRPG launcher (possibly to the place where LOG is displayed if you choose to, or create another part of the window), where the devs could inform players about the most important things?

Like, if there is some discussion about something really important, a little saying: Discussion running about bla bla bla, check here: link. Not all people visit the forums and i think this could help to get more attention here. If you need some feedback, you want as huge part of playerbase to express themselves, right?

Or just a simple: Please try to check the forums once in a while.

I know, i know, if you dont care, you will not read, but for those who care and just are not that well oriented on the website this could be helpful.

Perhaps just a feed of announcements from the announcements forum?

Exactly, i think that majority of the playerbase doesnt care about forums. For instance, from our czech crew, i was pretty much the only one reading them and we were like 10-14 people back in the days.
