Title: Please enter serial key
Post by: Voester on August 26, 2012, 09:24:37 pm: Whenever i try to join a server it asks me to enter my serial key and it won't take the one i get from steam? it's never done this to me before today and i've been playing a loooong time.

edit: it seems to work when i launch it via steam but with with the launcher it asks me for the serial key

Also i remember some time ago when i was making a research for my friend, there are two types of CD keys. There are 5x5 and 4x4 keys running around, you can convert the 5x5 from steam to 4x4 from talewords forums. But i am not sure if this cannot somehow break your game in other way, so better to wait and check if someone has some experience.

Anyways, try to google the CD key conversion, maybe you will find some info that helps.

You can also try to hit the devs on IRC channel, cannot find the link as wiki seems to be under construction :S

I had the same problem (when i wanted to join a server this morning, i was asked to enter my serial key). i hope its not my game, but just a problem with the servers.

Open this file and check that line is 0

" use_secure_connection = 0 "

We just need to see why crpg is not gettin the steam key as usual.

Is something related to crpg launcher system, not using the warbandkey.

Just dont convert your steam key or do something critical, let's wait and sharpen our blades @_@.
