Thrust can be an important part of the gamestyle.
Not being able to use thrust gives you a stats advantage over a weapon with thrust.

Being an unbalanced weapon is quite a big disadvantage. I think the stats are fine.

both of these are some of the weaker 2handed weapons. Compared to each other, they are balanced. Compared to other 2handers though...

I would call 25 pierce pretty decent and useable.
Definately better than 0 pierce  :lol:

Give the Claymore 125 reach or make it cheaper or give it 91 spd rtng and I'm happy. If you aren't a lolstabber it's a usefull weapon, but compared to other 2h at that price segment it's not worth 9980 bucks.

War cleaver is unbalanced... that is really REALLY a disadvantage, and i don't see the claymore as a bad weapon... had alot of fun with it on my 33str char.

The claymore grip position is wrong - it needs to move up closer to the guard like with the German sword. It will make the Claymore slightly shorter which is fine (it was typically slightly shorter than the continental big swords). Speed it up to 92 to compensate - it will end up as a slightly shorter 2H sword with a slightly better cut ability and cheaper price than the german/danish. Still my favorite 2H sword for the looks alone (I love the diagonal guards). Just fix the grip position!

Bring the scottish basket hilt to crpg! and kilts too :)

Up the claymores speed, job done.

But even then: no "ROFL-I-LOLSTAB-FROM-1CM-BY-ROFL-SPIN-LOLSTAB"
is a serious handicap
