If I'm going 15/24 for my next gen is it worth putting 50 points into 1h wpf and have 167wpf in crossbows or spend all my wpf in crossbows and have 173wpf?
I've been using an italian falchion for a few days with no wpf and I've been doing fine in mele with it, but would the extra 50 wpf help increase the damage much or the attack speed noticeably?

160 is enough to be honest. If you're solid in melee you should look at some melee wpf.

I'm currently using a 15-24 arbalest build with a masterwork arbalest. I have 150 or so xbow wpf and 100 2h wpf. I find myself very effective as an arbalestier, and I never wish for more accuracy or reload speed.

yea anyone figured how long arbalest is reloading depending on eWPF ?

In light armor i figured, that i m good with arbalest even with 140 xbow wpf. so all other i spend on 1h usually

Thanks for the input
I'm going to get around 160 wpf in crossbows and 85 wpf in 1h I think!

i played that build with 83 wpf in 2h using the OP mace, but found having 100 makes you much more effective when you find yourself dueling a 2h hero or a Pole

AFAIK there is no magic number when it comes to wpf, going from 99 to 100 will increase your effectiveness in the same way going from 100 to 101 would. I really think it's more of a preference thing.

I would go 150 in xbows and the rest in melee.
-
Those with MW Arbalest, please try getting at least 180wpf. You will see an improvement in accuracy. At least I saw 4 months ago.

at least 180 wpf? with an arba build?
teach me your secrets master. my poor math only gives me 173 max., mas o menos.
at topic: I felt quite good with 150 wpf in xbow and rest (about 100) in 2h or 1h

I'm not saying you need 180 for max accuracy, but for me it's for optimal loading times =)
-
167 is going to be sufficient no matter what range you are shooting at. That extra bit of WPF can make all of the difference in the world. Arbs dont pack the punch they used to and a user will often find themselves in a melee scenario after they've fired their shoot at the target. That small amount of wpf and athletics go together quite nicely.

thats not what I was asking. How the hack do you get 180 wpf?
