Anyone else notice, that the announcement for strat round ending, finally had people playing it for fun. The way it should have been the whole time?
I see less BS on forumns and in game. Most fights worked out ahead of time and having a good time is more important than winning.
If only this could carry over to the next one.

I did notice that, and I have a suspicion that was the plan all along (to get the UIF and other factions who were hoarding resources to make it through the zombie apocalypse into using those troops/resources to fight).
I honestly don't think they're even going to reset Strat :) chadz hasn't gotten enough drama lately, and his needs will be fulfilled one way or another. I still think it would be easier for him to pirate some American soap operas if the Euro one's aren't dramatic enough. We have lots of reality shows too that have lots of drama in them if you're interested.

There is still a war going on too, which is shocking. I for one am taking uslum and plan on putting gear in it for a defense, but I already know hospi Tactics, they will raid my poor future village... then attack it, because who likes to play the game. :lol:

We at KUTT felt since we didn't want to pick a side in the war, it was best not to hold a lot of stuff back and just wait for it to expire. Minaswell blow your load while you still have one to blow.

We here at FIDLGB are trying to get at least a couple battles everyday until all of our troops are gone. Then we'll recruit more and do it all again if there is time. No ill will is meant in any of the attacks, we just want to get as much XP out of Strategus as we can before it gets reset and the rebuilding begins yet again.

That's kind of obvious, who would hoard their resources if they knew the game is about to end, might as well spend it all on some fun and XP.
It would never happen if people felt they were in any sort of danger of being conquered, e.g. at any other point of the game that isn't "the end". Nothing matters now.
Strategus v4 should be faster and with less troops in a battle, so hopefully more battles, less hoarding, more fun.
I personally cannot wait for there to be no ******* AI faction...

I don't think chadz can be arsed implementing that whole voting thing so he is just coxing everyone into caping all the fiefs for the xp and burning all their resources and once everyone is boned but in control of all the fiefs he will just announce "welcome to strat 4!".
